FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Does L.D. Davis manufacture adhesives?

L.D. Davis has been manufacturing adhesives for 81 years. We manufacture both our waterbased and our industrial protein glues in our facility in Monroe, North Carolina. Because of our long history, we have been chosen to supply H.B. Fuller’s product lines as well as the exclusive Optima Futura Line from Ashland Chemical.

We have had problems in the past when we tried switching suppliers.

L.D. Davis provides a full production line audit to determine your specific adhesive needs. We recommend an adhesive solution, then we back it up with superior customer and technical service.

I am happy with my current supplier. What’s the value?

L.D. Davis is different. Our chemists, technicians and business managers have over 81 years of experience providing adhesive products to many satisfied customers. We are confident that we can offer you adhesive solutions that will increase your efficiency and improve your bottom line.

Why should I buy from a distributor when I can buy direct?

L.D. Davis provides you with local warehousing, reduced freight cost, just-in-time delivery and immediate attention to your needs. The result is higher efficiency and ease of operation which can drive your costs down.

I never heard of Ashland Chemical adhesives (L.D. Davis is a primary distributor of Ashland products.)

Ashland Chemical is based in Columbus, Ohio and is a major supplier in the adhesives industry. They provide a solid raw material purchasing position with their size and stability, providing you with competitive pricing.
