Starch (vegetable) Adhesive

These adhesives can be applied hot or cold. They cure by loss of moisture. Prepared from powder mixed with water, they are usually very thick.

White, tasteless and odorless powder that is insoluble in cold water or alcohol
Starch-based adhesives are made from natural ploymers derived from roots, tubers and seeds of higher plants such as maize, potatoes, wheat, rice and tapioca
A starch-based adhesive is either cold or warm water-soluble depending on the application specifications
