Resin Glues

Dextrin Glues

Clean-Machining, Paper-Friendly Adhesives

Dextrin glues, sometimes called brown glues, are water-based adhesives derived from starch. They are known for their clean machining, easy cleanup, and strong paper bonding. Available in white and yellow (canary) varieties, they are perfect for applications that require smooth lay-flat results and minimal curl.

Heated to around 200°F, dextrin glues form a tacky solution that can be tailored for different tack levels, open times, and colors. These adhesives are ideal for labeling, printing, and general paper product assembly.

Starch Glues

Natural, Cost-Effective Glues for Paper Packaging

Starch glues are made from vegetable-based carbohydrates such as maize, wheat, potatoes, rice, and tapioca. These adhesives are widely used in high-volume paper packaging applications due to their affordability, reliability, and renewable origins.

Heated to 180–190°F or used at ambient temperatures, starch glues dissolve into thick, paste-like adhesives. They’re ideal for bonding materials like corrugated board and paper bags, and can be formulated for high-viscosity requirements.
